In the mid-20th century in the United States, there were rules in swimming pools where girls swam in swimsuits, and boys had to swim naked. I like these time, anonymous. Can you tell more about it? I would have brought a camera each time visiting swimming pools to catch as many naked males as possible. In the comments of Marie's blog entry from 6-Aug, I proposed (on 7-Aug) and announced (on 11-Aug and 12-Aug) that since Marie did not want non-CFNM photos on her blog, I would accept them on my CFNM blog.
If you click on my user name above, you will see my Blogger profile with a list of blogs. It is the "CFNM and Other Delights" blog. Petra and Maisie have already found their way to that blog, but apparently no men have, because I have not received any photos yet.
My blog entry from 10-Aug will explain the process. On my profile page is an email link where you can send photos. Remember that I only want the photos that Marie does not want here, so continue sending true CFNM photos to her, and male-only photos to me. (Women can also send clothed-only photos to me too, so that we can see who our female friends are.)

I've read about these american pools and I am totaly dissapointed that it stopped and that it didn't spread to other countries.
I think those rules were wonderful. Girls with swimsuits and boys naked. I would also add one thing: if someone's penis is naked and especially if it is hard, all the girls are allowed to touch it.

I have to agree with Vanessa again. I have heard of these American pools, and it does seem genuine. They must have been wonderful places for girls to visit. I have only experienced this kind of thing at WNBR's, as a spectator, (and they are fab) and at clothing optional beaches. But now that I have discovered CFNM, I am looking forward to being clothed at my favourite beach (Orient Beach) next time.

these are the 50s / 60s / 70s YMCA pools where boys swam naked with girls in swimsuits. I think Marie, that a post is needed on this subject.
I'm disappointed that they stopped too. I'm not familiar with the mixed swimming but my twin brother was an excellent swimmer, as was I, and he competed in such galas. But I was never allowed by my mother to go. Of course all the girls at school knew what the deal was, and talked about it constantly, leaving me feeling left out. When I was about 15, I asked my brother Sam to ask mom if I could go to the next one. She said yes straight away. Perhaps, I have always thought, she was protecting Sam from me. But twins know all about each other anyway.
So finally I got to go. It has to be said that for a girl of that age, this was the best thing ever. The boys all came out at the start, and were loudly cheered by the spectators. I thought I may faint, to be honest. The races were by age group, and after the younger lads had been politely applauded, my own age group got their turn. Sam was their, as were his best friends, whom I was seeing naked after knowing them for years. Finally came the oldest boys, nearly 18 years old. These were athletes remember, and everyone in the crowd was mesmerised. The winner of the last race was known to me, and got out of the water and gave the crowd a wave. The whole place went ballistic.
The sad part is, this was the last year the held the galas naked, but thankfully I did get to go. Fond memories indeed.

The rules are clearly stated and she has the right to enforce them. I also think that any woman has the right to touch if she so wishes. Its only natural. How are women to get to know which men are suitable in the penile department if they cannot see and also touch the solidity of a male. Suzanne I love your story. I have read several such accounts, and if I may be so bold, they are told in a similar, non-sordid manner, which I find exquisite. Just good old fashioned nakedness on behalf of the males, and a respectful appreciation from the ladies spectating. I have also read others commenting on how unfair the situation is, but personally I would have loved to have been a naked participant. I think this environment is found on World Naked Bike Rides.It's one day a year when the rules are forgotten, and nakedness is acceptable in a fun, non-sexual way. Thank you, Matthew.

LOUISA and Matthew, thank you for your ever so kind comments. Indeed it was from an era long ago, more than 60 years, and I long for that time of my youth so much. Time waits for nobody. And I would really like to experience one of these WNBR's that I have read so much about, but they are so far away for me. Maybe San Fran as a treat to myself is a possibility, to try to re-live those old days! You have sown a seed in my mind, going there may take me back to way back when.
Well, my memories are old, but even after more that 60 years, still vivid. In some ways anyhow. I remember sitting waiting for the event to start, eagerly anticipating what the girls at school had talked so much about. Little did I know it was to surpass even their (I thought) exaggerations. As I said, the boys all came out together as a procession to greet the paying spectators. The younger boys were led out by the trainers, followed by the progressively older boys. It has to be said that the older more experienced boys were more confident, many of them, it seemed, enjoying the moment. But I can really only really speak for myself. I was totally overwhelmed by the whole affair. My head was spinning, but I was trying desperately to keep calm and keep control of myself. This was the late 1950's, and things were so much different then than they are today. Enthusiastic applause for the forthcoming sporting event was the very most that was acceptable. Well, I can only speak for myself, but I have always found that the sexiest part of any man is his face. A friendly face and a nice smile has always done it for me. So here I was, all these boys of my age and up to 18, slowly walking by, stark naked, waving and smiling as they passed me by. I looked from their smiling faces to their manhood, back to their faces and back once again and then to he next one and before I knew it the next one and tried to commit it all to memory. Of course I couldn't, it was all too much, too overwhelming. But I do still have snippets stored in the old gray matter, of all those naked nubile young men, with all their aspirations of life before them, just parading in their birthday suits right in front of me.
I don't have any photo's, and the truth is that back then you couldn't have had them printed anyway, it simply wouldn't be allowed. And besides I think it would have broken an unspoken protocol that existed. We girls (and our mums, don't forget) got to see all these naked athletes, strong conditioned young men in the prime of life in all their glory. Many girls were seeing the naked male form for the first time, and were treated to sights that would rarely be repeated. The boys, I always thought, enjoyed the experience. But more importantly when considering the modern world, they got to exhibit their prowess and yet still maintain their dignity on a wider scale. These days they would be splashed across the front pages, but back then they just waved to an appreciative crowd, and moved on. It's my personal opinion that given the lack of distractions back then ( I refer to playstations and the millions of TV channels today) the athletes back then were more conditioned and in greater number. There just wasn't much to do years ago. We were observing young men who spent most of their spare time exercising. And here they were stark naked in front of an appreciative crowd demonstrating their strengths in a competitive and partisan environment. I loved it.

I must say, contrary to your comment, that I do not think that the boys were 'forced' to swim naked. Or at least, no more so than the New York Giants players are forced to play football in blue. The swim galas were contested naked, and everyone knew this before agreeing to go. So all the competitors were therefor volunteering to perform naked, all the while being fully aware that there would be fully clothed female spectators at the venue. Just how much they knew of the motivation of some of the spectators, I cannot say. But I do not recall my brother ever being upset, or even nervous, about the naked aspect of it all. Quite the opposite, he was very enthusiastic. As I think, so were they all. They did not have to be there, and as already mentioned, they were all well conditioned young men entering the prime of life. I think many were very happy to show off their athletic youthful physiques.
When the teams paraded before the start of the races, for the most part the competitors were quiet and self absorbed, I thought, with the task ahead. A few may have waved to the crowd, enjoying their moments of fame or upon seeing their family members in the stands, but the majority were calm and resolved. Immediately after a race, there would be the usual outburst of joy or despair, but even so on a lesser scale than you see today. A leap out of the pool and a shout triumph was the most that was seen as proper back then. And of course it was a swim meet, so sometimes the racers were not sure who had won, and only took a polite bow upon confirmation of victory.
