CFNM saunas are very common in Europe.

Cfnm saunas are very common in Europe... yeah yeah... sure they are...

In Germany everyone is nude. It’s considered unhygienic to wear clothing in steam or sauna.

Marie, please delete clowns like anon @ Jan 24 10:04. They add nothing to this blog, and try their best to spoil the great work you have done over the years. Opposing viewpoints are one thing, but unsubstantiated noise from trolls is quite another. Don't let this great blog become infested with trolls only interested in stirring things up.

Anon is not a troll. In European saunas, all people are either naked or in swimsuits. There is no such thing as men being naked and women not, or vice versa.

True, in my country there are two types of sauna: with or without bathing suit. So in the nude spas, both genders are nude.
It's as if people on this blog forget that many women also like to be nude in spas or on beaches. Who are the clowns then?

Of course we can. But do not write nonsense "CFNM saunas are very common in Europe." This is not true. If the sauna administrator sets the rule “men are naked, women are in bathing suits”, this will cause bewilderment among visitors.

yes, this photo iyes the situation in this photo is an exception, but cfnm in a sauna is not an exception at all. Very often the women are covered with a towel or are in bathing suits while the men are completely naked

One example: https://zuiveramsterdam.nl/en/
Three days a week swimwear is mandatory for everyone, the rest of the days swimwear is prohibited for everyone. In this sauna, it is not possible for people in bathing suits to be together with naked people. Usually either swimwear is required or prohibited in saunas.

I think that depends on the place and their rules - where I live the proper attire to go to sauna is always 'fully-naked' but with towels - and sometimes they explicitly tell you that nudity is mandatory. Although in some place you may see - and it happen when I was in different saunas - that people go there in bathing suits (which was really funny when I was the only one naked person there, and that excites me to be honest :P). In such cases the staff will either politely ask you to take of your bathing suit and stay fully naked or, depending of the quality of the place, you will stay there dressed or naked as you want. Each place can have their own rules. Never ever I meet with the idea or rule that nudity is mandatory for the males while ladies can stay in bathing suits - it's only a fantasy I think or rare occasions. It doesn't mean the CFNM is something absolutely uncommon in saunas - I do remember one time when I was in one sauna after work - there was a reception room with cute ladies sitting behind the counter where you could pay and get the towels and bathrobe etc. Changing rooms were located on the left and the entrance to sauna room where located in front of that ladies. So you need to undress first, leave you clothes in locker and then walk past those ladies again in the open space, naked but wrapped in a towel or a bathrobe - then while entering the sauna rooms I usually take everything and remain naked until leaving, then I put the bathrobe again and walk into changing room. And one time, when I was leaving, instead using the bathrobe I wrapped myself in a towel, and tried to hold it with one hand while caring all other stuffs in the other - I think that caught the attention of the reception lady, I walked past her desk and then very awkwardly tried to open the doors to changing room with both hands full - and of course I did it on purpose so when I was about the open the door I let my towel to fall down - not entirely, but it was still very embarrassing - and exposed myself for a brief moment before closing the door behind me. I'm not sure if those ladies noticed it but they gave me a nice smiles when I was going to exit :)

that's all

Yes, Mike is right, it depends on places and rules, but CFNM is not uncommon.
As a matter of facts, in a sauna the standard dress code is nudity (with/without towels) for everyone ... but in practice women are almost alwayes wrapped in towels, while men are not ...
that not a rule, thats is very often an habit.
Often I also saw women and girls in swimsuit, even if it's not the right in a sauna !

Of course, CFNM is not mandatory (everywhere, not only in sauna and spa), but is a very common practice in many circumastances ... that's freedom, that's all folks!

My penis is tiny like the guy on the left.

I have to draw the line on this one. No way will I sit in a hot sauna wearing a swimsuit no matter how brief and getting all that sweat under it. As for towels, they are for sitting on not wrapping up in. If the others in the sauna with me are friends then it really doesn't matter if we see each other nude. It the others are strangers then we will likely not see each other again in which case it REALLY doesn't matter. A sauna feels too good to spoil it by wearing clothing.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Debbie,I mean who wants to sit in a sauna with their clothes on? It kind of defeats the whole purpose

Anonymous said...

we all agree, Debbie.
The matter, however is not how the right behaviour in a sauna should be, but simply considering that often that is not what really happens and many ladies hide nudity while men not. That's all.

"CFNM saunas are very common in Europe." This is not true.? Yes, it is. Been there done that.

Wow Nun of the Above, you really proved them wrong with that useless comment, now stop lying there is no such thing as CFNM sauna. Who the hell would want to be in a sauna fully clothed?

Nun of the Above said...

No No No No, I didn't say the women were "fully clothed." Sometimes they wore bikini bottoms, towels or swimsuits.

Anonymous said...

Often in saunas, either swimwear is prohibited or mandatory - for everyone. In such saunas, it is impossible for some of those present to be in bathing suits, and some to be naked.

I'm okay with the girls wearing swimsuit s or bikinis./.
